Over the last few years I have become fascinated with windows and doors. One aspect being architecture and building materials, another is their practicality, function and purpose. Both architects, stone masons and other craftsmen showing off their skills and leaving their mark, providing us with a variety of individual style.
It is lovely to see how people are taking pride to decorate windows and doors alike, creating harmony in keeping with the rest of the building and offering visual impact, whilst in other cases dilapidation is shown, generating interest by providing texture.
